A global team of very experienced executives
With diverse industry expertise in business, security, government relations and technology, the GreyScan Board of Directors bring a depth and breadth of global experience to the organisation to set the strategic direction and purpose.
The members are extremely pro-active individuals with extensive networks delivering a wide range of business, entrepreneurial, engineering and commercial skills to GreyScan. The Board’s role is to provide governance to GreyScan, and in doing so, they oversee the strategic direction of the organisation with a focus on all strategic and associated business functions (regulatory, financial, legal, audit and risk).
GreyScan’s Board of Directors consists of six directors.
Until recently Michael was an executive director at Telstra where he held a range of portfolios in network, technology, operations and defence. As Executive Managing Director, Network & Technology, he was responsible for all of Telstra’s architecture, IT and network delivery and a staff of over 3,000. He has deep knowledge of government engagement and procurement having led Telstra’s engagement with the Department of Defence, being Telstra’s largest customer undertaking at the time.
With high level security clearance and training in electronic engineering, he has senior experience on the boards of industry bodies and private enterprises.
Jefferson Harcourt formed Grey Innovation in 1998, and since its inception, Grey has undertaken engineering development work for a wide range of industry sectors including defence, automotive, consumer electronics, and medical devices.
Jefferson works with members of the investment community to help build business, sits on a number of start up company boards, and is committed to helping create successful high-tech companies.
Ross is a Director of the Bruce Mathieson Group having led its senior management team for over 28 years. He has significant financial, investment, and operational experience. Ross was, until recently, a senior executive of Woolworths Limited in his role as the Chief Operating Officer of the ALH Group, where he still remains a Director.
Jonathan is an executive director of Metamor Capital Partners, a specialist credit funds manager. Jonathan has over 20 years experience in law and investment banking in Australia, Europe and Asia, having advised on over $50b of corporate transactions globally. Prior to co-founding Metamor in 2014, he was a corporate partner at a major national law firm, a founding director of a technology company and an executive at an investment bank.
Simon brings significant finance, executional and management experience to the Board, having been involved in senior management (CEO, CFO) or Director of a number of high growth companies that have successfully generated significant shareholder returns. These include the sale of iCareHealth Australia to Telstra (2014), sale of MYOB to Bain Capital (2011), take private of MYOB with Archer Capital (2008) and sale of Fitness2Live to McKesson (2007). He is also a Director of a number of companies and not-for-profit organisations, including Sendle (Chair), Tandem Corp (Director), Arq Group (Director) and Methodist Ladies’ College (Director).
Mo has a long and distinguished career as a local law enforcement officer, corporate security manager and senior Federal leader. Most recently, Mr McGowan served as Assistant Administrator for the Office of Security Operations at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where he was responsible for securing all transportation modes with emphasis on the aviation sector. He is noted for his role as an architect of the evolutionary program that changed the culture and security posture of TSA’s uniformed officers.
