GreyScan invited to present at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Working Group on Innovation in Aviation Security meeting (Melbourne, March 2023)

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Working Group on Innovation in Aviation Security (WGIAS) is a mix of ICAO member states from across the globe, along with observers from IATA, ACI, EOS, and other industry groups. The Working Group’s focus is to develop and provide advice to the ICAO Aviation Security Panel on innovative approaches or concepts in aviation security, or on matters referred to them by the Panel or other Working Groups.
At the invitation of the Department of Home Affairs (co-chair of the working group), GreyScan’s Andrew Avenell and Effie Sofronidis attended the meeting to discuss GreyScan’s ETD-100, the only field deployable Explosives Trace Detector designed to detect the inorganic substances commonly used to manufacture Home Made Explosives (HMEs).
Our thanks to the Department of Home Affairs for inviting GreyScan to present the ETD-100 at such an event.
