GreyScan began its 2023 exhibition calendar with Intersec 2023, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17-19 January.
Hosted by our recently signed partner, SecureOne International , GreyScan’s James Bryant was on hand to demonstrate the ETD-100 inorganic explosive trace detector on the impressive SecureOne stand.
SecureOne specialise in under-vehicle imaging scanning systems and have many customers and contacts across the Middle East. With an obvious overlap in security applications, the introduction of an innovative inorganic trace detector drove visitors to the booth and James performed numerous demonstrations to key agencies and customers from the region.
Intersec Dubai also attracts many visitors from overseas, and demonstrations and meetings were held with customers and potential partners from various parts of Africa and India, as well as key contacts from Qatar, Saudi, Kuwait and Bahrain.
In response to the show, a number of agencies have arranged follow-up, on-site presentations and trials, including the Abu Dhabi Police, EOD Department and Dubai Police’s Forensic Science teams.
The 24th edition of Intersec was almost one-and-a-half times bigger than Intersec 2022, and crowds seemed to have returned to pre-Covid attendances, confirming that the industry’s appetite for large events is returning.
Many thanks to SecureOne International for putting together such an incredible exhibition stand! We look forward to our continued partnership into 2023.
