Our regional partner, IR Technologies, was on hand at India’s Homeland Security and Police Expo to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the ETD-100.
Amongst the thousands of visitors to the Expo, were key leaders of India’s government, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, Police Forces, as well as Forensics operators, Defence Force Officers, Security Authorities and industry stakeholders.
The unique capability of the ETD-100 to rapidly (under a minute) detect trace amounts of inorganic chemicals commonly used to make Home Made Explosives made quite an impression.
There was significant interest from various Indian government departments and, as a result, demonstrations and trials are progressing with a number of Indian forensics operations, as well as the Home Affairs Ministry.
